Our ecological footprints – Maria K. & Zoe K.

We both see that our ecological footprints are bigger from the limit of 35 hectares. We also see that between our footprint there is a limit about 30 hectares. This so big difference maybe had created because of our outschool activities, for example we are using the car for our transportation. For this reason we have to reduce our ecological footprint and do whatever we can to help our planet. There are many ways to achieve our goal like:
a) We could not to use our car to go to nearby places but we could go there on foot or we could use our bike.
b) At our home but also at our school it would be better if we had recycling bins so we could throw recyclable waste (glass, plastic, aluminium, paper e.t.c.)
c) We should stop throwing our trashes to the ground.
d) We should use water in moderation and wisdom.
e) We should use renewable energy sources.
All those can make our ecological footprint smaller and it may make us love our planet more than now.
